On these days, we provide hygiene products and resources to people living in encampments (outreach), individuals placed in temporary shelters (transitional housing programs and motels), events, and schools. In 2025, we generously donated 1,635 hygiene products to support the unhoused community and families impacted by the wildfires that were occurring now.

Darika Brown, our President, is an accomplished impressive academic. She is an alumnus of Inglewood High, Southwest College, and Ashford University. Darika is dedicated to being an inspiring role model the youth. She has published seven books on Amazon and has poems featured in three collaborative works with other writers. Darika's commitment to being a great role model the youth is truly commendable.
Derrick Brown, our esteemed financial officer, brings over 25 years of experience in business management. He has a deep understanding of social issues related to poverty in urban communities. Since 2016, he has proudly held the title of business owner. For 31 years, Derrick has been an invaluable advisor, providing exceptional guidance and support. His vast experience and dedication make him a key asset to our team.
At Stopping Cry’s, our mission is to be the preferred choice for top-quality hygiene products and care, providing sustainable option without sacrificing style or comfort. We envision a world every individual has access to safe and effective hygiene care solutions, and where use of natural ingredients proper hygiene practices contribute to a healthier and more sustainable society. Founded in 2020, we were inspired by the Coronavirus to help community reduce the spread of germs, bacteria, and viruses. Hygiene is as important as drinking water.
Stopping Cry’s vision is to empower people by providing sustainable and eco-friendly hygiene products that support their health and the health of the planet Our goal is to influence others to change their mindset and adopt better hygiene practices. Throughout the week, we promote the importance of hygiene and address hygiene insecurity issues in Los Angeles County. We must work together to stop the tears.
