Today is aber day for the Stopping Cry’s family as we mourn the loss of one of our esteemed board members, Brenda Peterson. She was a beacon of light who kept the team motivated and uplifted everyone's spirits, even in the darkest times. Brenda's laughter was infectious, and she truly was the heart and soul of Stopping Cry’s. She often reminded us, "Let's focus on today, we don't do yesterday!" Brenda taught us to embrace the skin we were born in, sharing how her father taught her to love her dark complexion. We are deeply grateful to Brenda Peterson for her years of teaching and tenderness.
